The old city

Rail looked at the girl, he held the gun up higher aiming at her face. He turned slightly as the boy walked back in. "She's plotting, I heard her talking to her shade. Then she sung that song trying to draw you back here." He said poking the girl with the gun, "So whats the plan, why the hell did you do it?" He asked angerly.

Wolf stepped back confused. "She must be one of those befreinding theifs... " wolf offered still confused. Why would the girl scare him away just to do thay.

"See I told you they would hurt us!" Xenon said to her shadow, she looked frightened and her shadow looked pissed off. "Shut up." Her shade growled and wrapped it's black mist like tendrils around Xenon's mouth. Xenon stared at the floor and waited for her shade to take over. Slowly the mist sank in to her and again her blue eyes flahsed red for a moment before turning back to blue. Suddenly the expression on the girls face changed from unsure to... dark. "We are no plotting theif, we are mearly a human killer."

Rail ground his teeth and aimed down at the girls legs and fired a blast from his rifle, it let out a high powered screech as the red beam of light fired out towards the girls leg. With out looking to see if it hit he shot wildly into the wall behind her knowing she wouldn't be as strong in the light.

Wolf watched rail fire his gin and suddenly he wonders how the boy got a working one. He had enough trouble with helping to keep the power running through there small hydrogenerators and making some crappy lightbulbs. But this gun was more then he had ever seen. Strangly one of his first thoughts was how i worked. It must have used solar to charge itself since wolf could see no other way it could work... turning his attention to the problem at hand Wolf knew it would be dangerous to change again. His limit was regularily once a week max. He found if he stayed below that the shadeling didnt get any harder to get off. But he already broke that rule so far. Wolf stepped back the rod held up protectively as rail blasted the wall.

Xenon took a step to the right and had the gun beam graze across her leg, leaving a large burn that made her clench her teeth. As soon as the sunlight came through she suddenly felt far more vanerable so she made a jump to the far side of the room. If she could just sit in the shadows she could make herself vanish and maybe they would think she teleported or something. Hitting hard against the opposite wall she suddenly seemed to evaporate into nothing.

a sence of gref sweeped across lilith as she saw the girl clench in pain. she leeped aross the room infront of her. "stop!!" she screamed. "dont hurt her please" she said waveing her arms in the air. lilith called hre shade over to her just incase she was needed. "are you alright." she said turning to the girl. lilith knelt down to her putting most of the presure on her good leg.

Xenon didn't realize at first that she was still partly visible because of all the light in the room until the girl knelt down to help her. "T-thanks." she said shakily. Xenon felt an instant trusting nature towards this girl, maybe because she was female and not male. Even her shade did not protest when the girl tried to help her. Xenon turned her blue eyes to the two males, she felt a sudden hatred towrads them.. they wanted to hurt her... just like her father.

lilith looked down at the girls leg. "whats your name?" she said being careful not to frighten her. she slowly moved so she could get a better looked. "may i see your leg?" she said getting in a better position to sit down. lilith was worried about the two guys behind her. she know this is what Wolf was talking about when she said think first, but she thought she had a good idea of what she was doing this time. She hoped..

"Xenon." She and her shade said at the same time. They voices seemed to mix to make this odd sound. Xenon relaxed as the girl looked at her wounded leg, she could also tell that this girl had an injury of her own. "Stay with me..." She whispered to the girl, if she could have this girl as a traveling companion she would feel also safer, plus Xenon knew a place she and this girl could hide to recover from their wounds.

she looked up at Xenon "dont worry i will not leave u" lilith said. SHe looked at sophie and held out her hand. sophie seemed to melt into lilith turning her eyes a ocean blue. Lillith coukld treat the burn with her water. her shade fully engolfed her makeing it posible for her to use her powers. lilith took hold of Xenon's leg and put her hand gentaly over the burn. A coat of water came from her hand and wrapped around Xenon's leg soaking into her skin. she knew that the icey water would help sooth the pain.

Xenon looked at this girl infront of her. "Thank you." She said quietly back and then the girl began to treat her burns. The cold water felt amazing on the scorched skin. Letting out a small of relief she sat there for a moment. Now the real question was how were they going to get out of there. Her shade began thinking, plotting ways to get out. "Come with me." xenon said to the girl. "I know a place we can go."

lilith looked at Xenon. "where we can go?" lilith looked confused. she was still working on the girls burn. Apply more coats of water to it. Did Xenon want her to run away with her? they had just met how could she trust her so much? lilith was alittle worried but she liked this girl and she seemed to have something aginst the men she had been traveling with.

Rails lips where brought back into a raged filled snarl, "You don't fucking get it do you!" He yelled gun still aimed on the girl,
"People don't tell you to fuck off, start talking to them selves and then force the people to come back." Rail was aware that what he was saying wasn't the nicest of things that he could be saying at this present time but it was necessary. He fired a burst of light from his gun punching a fist size hole in the wall behind her. "So whats your plan?"

Lilith was not one to freak out. She calmly stood up still in shade forum. Put her outstretched hands together aiming at the electric shade and released a high pressured blast of water at him. "watch your tongue shade." she scolded.

Rail was pushed back by the water, skin started to rip of before it finally finished. "Your a fucking idiot you know that, Water doesn't go well with electricity." He said one hand hovering over the pocket containing his shade.

Wolf watched carefully as they quarreled. He was now behind the fighting too and looking down to the bar in his hand Wolf made sure xenon could not stop him and quickly swung the pole around her aiming for her stomach to wind her. Xenon was obviously on her way to the nut house and lilith was now a problem. She went against them. she knew where the village was. He wasnt going to kill her. But a good winding would probably do it.

Lilith was starring at the electric shade now threading her with the shade in his pocket. She pulled her fists infront of her ready to jump. A smashing pain shot up lilith and she toppled to the floor as Wolfs metal bar connected with her. The wind was knocked out of lilith. Her hands shot to her stinging chest.

Wolf reached down and picked her up holding her weakend body against his chest, his arm posed to snap her neck. "Dont even think about it..." He posed to Xenon steppign back. "I told you to think before you act... apparetly i should have told you to listen too." He growled into her ear looking to Rail. "You got the other one?"

Lilith did not resist. "Please.. don't hurt her.. shes just scarred." lilith gasped. her gaze held with Xenon's for just a moment. HEr lungs were just starting to take in air now but she was still to weak to move. She knew that what she had done was risky but something about that girl cried for help and lilith just could not leave her there to fend for herself. She had also betrayed wolf's trust.

Wolf held a little tighter around her neck. "She was obviously here before lilith... I doubt she has seen anyone in a while. And considering We were about to leave, any harm that befalls here will be thanks to you pulling this stunt." Wolf had issues with people like this. She should have just listened to him.

Rail nodded threw up the gun so he was holding the barrel and swung at the girls head, since she was crouching in a corner with light streaming through their was little room for error.

The quarrel went on and Xenon sat silently, her shade was inside her right now... telling her all sorts of things.. The shade had all control of her body, Xenon was nothing more than a voice in the back of the mind at the moment. The moment the gun connected with her head she was out... well so it seemed. She may have been out cold but all the time in the back of Xenon's mind her and her shade sat there, face to face. The same face at that, the only difference was the eyes, one pair was red and one pair was blue. "Great now they've got us!" Xenon said to her shade. "Thats not a problem... I have things all worked out." Her shade hissed. "I've always saved us before, I'll do it again." it hissed again, it's red eyes staring intently at her. "Yes.." Xenon whispered.

As Xenon went out Wolf dropped lilith. Reaching into his bag he garbbed his coil of rope and snipping a piece with his knife, bound her hands behind her back angrilly. "YOU NEED TO LEARN TO LISTEN!" Wolf was tired from the transformations and now it caught up with him, as he used the fatigue to fuel his anger. "That girl could have killed you if you went with her!" Wolf tugged the rope raising her to her feet. Wolf looked to the dark shade then up to Rail. Be careful i dont see her shade... it must still be in for some reason. Bending down halphazardously, he tied her arms and reaching into the bag pulled out a stick flare. Wolf tied it in with the rope so if it was pulled apart or cut the flare would go off as her arms moved apart. Not good for a dark shade. Wolf stood back up wonderign how they would move the two.

Lilith did not move she was ashamed. Lilith wanted to help but she really did not feel like xenon was that bad. "I won't move wolf." she said her head hanging after all he had done she had done nothing but make it worse. "tell me what to do.." she said looking at the floor.
