The old city

"What, no" Vladimir said looking at her. He was still trying to figure out what he was feeling for her. Maybe he lik liked her or something he idn't know. But he was guessing it was that. he then looked at the fire. Emiko got more fire wood and restocked the fire and had Kasai start it again.

"i have never been a great person to have as a friend." she said nestling into her arms pulling her legs up to her chest. "i just have a vary hard time with valance.. " she said wishing she would shut up before she made things any worse.

"I've only had one friend and hes over there." Vladmir said pointint to Cain. He looked at lilith, "I'll be your friend to Lilith" Vladimir said facing her. Emiko sat down after fixing the fire. Vladimir laid back puting his arms behind his head. He looked at the sky.

Lilith gave him a smile. "thanks." she said and leaned back herself. She could feel her eyes closeing and there was no way to say no. Lilith fell into a dreamless sleep.

VLadimir smiled be fore he to fell asleep, into a deep sleep. Cain was dead asleep. It was quiet since practicaly everyone was asleep.. Which made Emiko's job easy. Emiko kept the fire going.

Oh gosh. Her toes were at the cliff, one already dangling off. She had two choices now, she could run back to safety and possibly never have this chance again, or she could dive and hope there was a net at the bottom. Ion stare up at Wolf. How long would this last? Would it even make it past this? Stop, you're thinking again, she warned herself. Right, thinking is bad. Finally Ion forced her eyes shut and moved closer.

Wolf pressed himself against her. He closed his own eyes and pressed his lips against hers. Wolf was totally surprised by the feeling. Her lips were very soft but the feeling of them together was practically fire to him. His hand pressed on the delicate flesh of her back while his other hand felt the soft grip of her own. Wolf had been very blessed to be a boy, he sucked at multitasking. plain and simply. He tried his best to only think of a single thing at a time, which worked for him.

Ion's hand not holding his reached around his neck. Thinking was bad, so she just went along by feeling. For a girl she wasn't very good at this stuff. Maybe she could have stayed and watched that movie. No, no thinking! Ion let her mind go blank again. Man, not thinking was hard. I wonder how blonds do this all the time... Finally though all she felt was their lips touching and smooth flesh.

Wolf kissed softly keeping his emotions and desires down. Just a kiss now wolf... ah heck maybe only a kiss, who knows. Wolf hesitantly slowly pulled away smiling to her. "thanks." thanks? what are you a 2 year old? "Do you have all your stuff?" He asked just moving back a bit so they were still touching.

Damnit. What was wrong with her? She was acting like, well, a guy. Where were her girlish feeling? Probably under that rubble. Well, she was never going back there, so it was about time she start developing new ones. "Yeah, let's go." She reached up and placed her lips against his once more before backing away. "Cri, come on!" The shadeling had been swimming again. Now it rushed up to her and brushed against her leg.

Wolf had just been thinking about what woudl happen that night... would she wanna cuddle or sleep alone- suddenly his thoughts were cut off as she kissed him again. "ok" He smiled as he started to lead Ion back. "What should we have for dinner?" He asked feeling a little hungry.

"Not sure," Ion shrugged. She looked out into the forest, searching for any movement in the bushes. They had been out in the open for a while, what if someone had seen them? Were the Dark Hoods even still around? She gave Wolf's hand a squeeze. It was great having someone beside her instead just air and trees. Movement on a branch of a nearby tree made her eyes flicker, but it was just a songbird. "How about some chicken?"

Wolf thougth about her question for a second and shrugged. "Im sure we can get someone to go butcher some of the chickens. I dont think they have done it yet." Wolf looked up at the bird in the tree and back to her. "Figure they let the fire go out? im wondering if they were even looking after things..." He said hoping they had listened to him.

"Maybe. Guess we're about to find out," Ion said, jerking her head forward. The trees were starting to thin out. As they got closer a stream of thoughts began harrasing her. What would everyone think that they did? The two of them, alone, in the woods. Ion reached up and ran her hand zig-zag through her hair. Ok, calm down. Maybe it won't be so bad.

Wolf looked around as they slowly emerged from the woods and got closer to the village. Wolf wanted to ask her if she wanted them to be a secret or not... but he wasnt sure if it counted as being together... but as he thought about the fact they were holding hands he just decided to man up and ask. "Are you ok with people knowing?" He asked watching grass emerge from the moss.

Ion pulled her shoulders up and let them drop in a long shrug. "I'm good with it, as long as they aren't spreading stupid stuff around. Don't need getting weird comments when I go to have a healing session, you know?" She smiled and let out a sigh. The sun had started to set and a cool breeze danced through the air. It was starting to smell like autumn. Of course I would be the odd one. When spring brings new life to everything else, I start mine in the fall when things start to die.

Wolf nodded and couldnt help smiling. Ive got a girlfriend! He thought overjoyed as they reached the now burnt down gate. Wolf could see some smoke up ahead so he knew the fire was at least still going. "I guess we will ask the doc to get someone on chopping up chickens." Wolf suggested his thumb doing a circle against the soft skin of her hand.

"K. Why don't you do that and get some fire wood? I've got to go around and check on some patients. The majority have been mostly healed, but some are still in the intermediate stage." Ion reached up and gave him a peck on the cheek before pulling away and started towards the injuries were sitting by the fire, Cri following close on her heals.

Wolf watched her walk away and smiled turning as he started for the doctors now destroyed hut. "Yes!" He whispered to himself putting his hands together remember how great hers felt. Wolf practically smacked into the doctor as he danced along not even looking where he was going. "Oh doc, coudl you get someone to hack up some chickens for tonight?" He asked picking up chunks of partly burnt logs as the doctor nodded.
"sure can."

Wolf smiled walking towards the camp with his arms full of wood.

The numbers had dwindled so much that she was on the last person before Wolf got back. Ion looked around the fire. Lilith, Cain, and Vlad were all sleeping. The girl name Emiko however was standing by the fire. Apparantly someone had been keeping it going, altough it was starting to dwindle now with the lack of wood. Hopefully the wood and food would be here soon. She rolled her shoulders then raised her left arm up into a cradling position while the right floated inches above it. Cri slipped out through the palm of her hand and sat happily on her arm. It was mind blowing to her how all of the other Shades were constently fighting their shadelings while hers had been her bestfriend for forever. Was it her shadeling who was odd, or was it her?

Wolf saw Emiko and Ion near the fire and smiled as he approached them. "Apparently most people are going into my hut thing to sleep, they have there very own fire going and everything. The butcher is finishing up some chickens and many are cooking. probably half an hour and they will start finishing. The last chickens will come to us, the villagers are being fed first." He looked around the group noticing most of them are sleeping. "Well the village will definitely survive. Everything is set up in the hut for them..." Wolf trailed off putting the logs on the ground and putting some in the fire. "So what are your plans?" HE asked moving over to where Ion was and sitting on the ground next to her.

At first Ion was so losted in her thoughts that she didn't notice Wolf had come back. But at the sound of logs being put on the ground and approaching footsteps she looked up. Cri nuzzled her arm before moving to her lap so that her arms were free. "What do you mean?" she asked.

Wolf thought for a minute slowly. "Well are you going to stay... or do you have somewhere to go... can we sle-" Wolf cut himself off his face going beet red. He was listing from his mind and had accidentally added the wrong thing. Hopefully he cut himself off soon enough.

Ion leaned back, placing her weight on her hands. His half sentence didn't click in her mind so she pushed it aside. "Well, I don't really have anywhere to go, and I don't think it see where leaving now would really make any sense. Unless of course you've got a plan." She ran her hand through her hair, sighing as she felt dirt mash into her hair. Great.
