The old city

Wolf hefted Xenon's supposedly unconcious body over his shoulder and stood up looking over. "Just simply listen too me." Wolf looked to Rail then back to lilith. "I dont feel safe leaving her... I dont feel safe taking her... but this way when we get back we can try and get the shade out... Im going to carry her so that incase she wakes up and manages to harm me... it wont be someone elses harm. If she is going to get away make sure she isnt alive. WE cant have her hurting my village. Wolf then without another word led them through the door and down out of the building. It was time to get too the hospital.

"Wolf she does not know where your village is so why not just relocate her to a better spot?" lilith felt vary bad saying the idea after she had just tried to help xenon escape. Lilith really hoped that the girl could not here her.

Xenon was unable to hear Wolf and Lilith's little conversation.... but her shade was listening intently. Taking in everything, calculating.. observing and thinking. The shade was the brains and brawns of the operation, Xenon was nothing more than the host. Though most people would think Xenon would hate her shade, but she actually was very attachted to it. It was the shade that saved her from her father's abuse, her escape to freedom. She had been more than willing to give her body up to the shade if it ment getting rid of her father. Finally the shade couldn't take listening to the conversation any longer. "You need to treat her with more respect, you men are all the same." The shade hissed to Wolf, still inside Xenon's body.

Rail wasn't really listening till the shade spoke. He turned his laser around and fired straight at the side of the girls knee. "What ever your going to do, do it quick."

Wolf just sighed, "Your the one who attacked us. We were willing to help before you went all physco!" Wolf said right before the girls knee was blasted in. "Just a little bit overkill?" He asked as they got onto the street and Wolf turned down the main road leading to the hospitial. The girls leg was leaking blood, obviously not cauterised well enough. Wolf stopped for a moment to bandage it up. The village was small and many were constantly lost do too shades. So every person he could cure was worth it.

The shade made a hissing noise as Xenon was shot. The black mist seemed to mix in with the blood and it turned black as it splashed to the ground. Xenon herself was still knocked out so she wasn't even aware that her leg now had a gaping hole in it. Again the shade growled and then sank back into Xenon's body... back into the mind to discuss things with Xenon. All the while Xenon's body seemed motionless except for the shallow breathing every now and again. Her long wavey white hair got slightly stained black from the blood, just the ends though. In her state of unconcousness she looked so innocent, her face soft and emotionless.

Lilith winced as the electric shade blew a hole in Xenon's knee. All she could do is look away with her hands bound. Her leg was begining to hurt again but she made no notice of it. Lilith just looked straight ahead noticing nothing. Her little shade trailing behind her. "Wolf.. is there anything i can do?" she said feeling like her voice was in a far away place.

Wolf rounded a corner with them and looked up from the grey cracked pavement below them. "Yah, find as much medication as you can and bring it back to me." Wolf put Xenon on the ground and snipped the bonds on Lilith. "Make sure you remember what I said." Wolf said after he cut them. Wolf looked over the door to the hospitial before pushing the white door open. The smell of antiseptic rushed into Wolfs nose as he noticed a strange mist in the hospital... The halls were hazy and there was an obvious extreme rise between the humidity inside and outside...

Luna rubbed her hand down the delicate skin of her leg pushing off the soap. The room was foggy, humid and the water felt great on her skin. Luna smiled as she gave one last wipe of the water off of her. Luna rubbed the soft towel over her skin drying herself off. As she lifted the towel away from her head, her dark crimson eyes looked about the room, taking things in. Luna slid her clothes on and opened up the door to the hospital patients bathroom. The hospital was still misty from when she was in shade form that morning. Luna walked down the hall her shade following behind her.

Rail turned and watched as they left, he didn't really trust the girl by her self. That was of course till he heard and felt the steam. It was as if some one was running a, shower! He glanced down at the girl before dashing off down the hall way away from the others. He turned around the corner to see a practically naked girl who must have just come from the shower. He was about to talk till he saw the shadow shade behind her. He grabbed his gas mask which was hanging around his neck. It was basically a piece of steel that covered his mouth to his nose and was connected to two small air tanks attached to his back. He then raised his gun pointing it straight at her head. He then talked in his now distorted voice. "What the hell are you doing here?"

Luna looked the boy over before frowning. "THIS is my home. What are you doing here?" Luna asked angrily. Luna's shade got closer ready to protect the girl. "I set up power here for myself... but feel free to come use the water if you want..." luna smiled ready to let her shade in.

Xenon was still out like a light, not aware of anything or anyone other than her shade.

Adler was sitting under a half broken down shack thing, doing his best to get to sleep. But he could hear people in the distance, over by the hosptial... How stupid they were.. The hospital was occupied by a dark shade person, a scary girl he made sure to stay far away from. He himself had lived out here in the "slums" ever since the whole shade experiment went wrong... Slowly getting up he watched as the people went intot he hospital. He shook his head, he wasn't going in after them, but he decided to go wait by the door and evesdrop.

As the boys were panting after the girl in the towel. Lilith was taking in the building the was a hall way that she hoped would lead somewhere useful. She had to try and get past the naked guard first. Lilith stepped forward toward her and placed a hand on her shoulder. "we have a helpless hurt shade outside and we came here in hopes that someone could help us. Would would not be willing to help us? Or u could keep her." Lilith said with a sweet smile.

Lunas turned her attention to the girl smiling to her. Luna smiled back friendly before growling and grabbing her arm twisting it. "Hands.... off." She hissed her strange red eyes filled with bloodlust. Luna grabbed the girls hair and lifted her up as she looked over the body before her. "And what does this do for me?" Luna asked her voice as innocent as a childs and her face telling the same story.

Lilith swallowed her pain back. "she's a dark shade like yourself don't u have any kindness for your own people?" Lilith said hopeing to distract her. Liliths hole reason for tangleing with this lethal creature was so one of her partners in crime might be able to get what they need.

Luna laughed. "Unless she is helping me she is of no use." Luna let go of lilith and turned, her soft white hair almost dry. "my name is azrael" Luna said her hand rubbign along the dark silk hair band on her head. Luna reached a well poilished hand down to help the girl up. "You better have something in return."

Lilith took her hand and straighten herself up. " I am Lilith. It's a pleasure to meet u. There's no question how u lived." she said thinking for a moment. "what would you want in return?" Lilith said raising an eye brow and crossing her arms.

Luna thought for a moment puzzedly. "Well what do you have?" She asked seeing a boy who was still looking around finally poke around the corner and she smiled as his mouth went a gape upon seeing her. "Why is that guy so suprised???" Luna asked confused at the boys startled expression. She was just a girl.

"really I am all I have but I have picked up some trades during my travels." she said not really sure what to offer. Lilith was sure that a loaf off bread could offer more.Lilith was perpeared to trade herself if I ment helping the girl and gaining wilds trust. Lilith looked puzzled then replayed. "has not got any for awile maybe." she said nonchalantly.

Luna nodded as she watched the guy quickly head back the way he came red faced. "What can you do exactly?" She asked rubbing a hand down her stomach. Luna turned her head down the hallway while she thought. "Ill have to meet that guy... I could feel the energy comming from him..." she whispered mostly to herself. "Is he strong?"

"God damn it, Im not just going to get fucked around by a shade again." He growled turning and leaving as the two started talking about what to trade. Rails mind drifted to the bag full of the towns medicine. He pushed open the front door right into some one, their was no shade with them but that didn't really mean much. They could just have it in a pocket like himself. "I wouldn't head in there if I were you." He said putting the gun back on its strap.

"yes hes strong. why what interest would he be to you?" she said looking luna over. lilith's mind was still fighting to find something to trade with she needed luna to give up some kind of hint to what she might want. lilith had helped build towns fix water ways.. maybe her water powers could help but she did not think it would. By the way things looked in the hostpital luna did not need any water from her.

Adler stumlbed backwards as some bigger guy walked into him. The first thoughts that scurried into his mind was that this guy could be a shade, the thought made him want to have a heart attack. Reaching into his back pocket he whipped out his pocket knife and held it infront of him.. just to be on the safe side. Though it was clear that his small boyish hands were trembling slightly. His shaggy blond hair stuck out from under his dark grey tuke and his green eyes wide. After a moment he realized that the guy had just put his gun away and had no hostile look on his face, which made Adler feel a little safer. Slowly he lowered the knife, but did not remove it from his hand. "I... err.. wasn't planning on it.." He said answering the older boy's words.

Wolf had turned away his face red. Nothing had perpared him for that... Wolf continued walking as he blushed checking rooms for the medication.

Luna just shrugged licking the ends of one of her fingers. "I was just curious..." Luna licked her perfect lips thinking about what she could have. "Why dont you give me that dark shade you have?" She asked perring down the hall to the girl who had been lain on the floor.

Rail looked at the boy who thought it was a great idea to pull a knife on him. He said nothing as the boy put it away. "Please don't do that again." He said walking away from the scene.

Lilith nodded. "alright if you can fix her you can have her. It takes her off our hands too." she said hoping this agreement would be satisfying. She motioned for Luna to follow her to Xenon. "I have to warn you shes a tricky one."
