The old city

Wolf looked over to her and nodded in agreement. He let her stay where she was and hopped out of the car grabbing the blankets and pillows in his arms as his made his way to her door and opened it for her. "Ok I got them." He said smiling under the pile of fabric.

Ion laughed as her feet hit the ground. "Here, I can take some of that." She took some of the stuff off the top and leaned in to give him a kiss. "I think we should pick somewhere between the stream and the fire to set up. It's a bit grassy there, so it'll add some extra comfort." She stood there, waiting for his answer, hoping she had said something right.

Wolf smiled happy with just the kiss. "Whatever you want Ion." He answered a little relieved she took some of the pile. Wolf began to walk to where she had suggested putting down the bedding on the spot. "Want more on the bottom? or more on the top?" He asked wondering whether she would rather comfort or heat.

Ion bit her lip, unable to run her hand through her hair, and looked down. She slipped off her shoe and felt the ground. "Well, it's pretty soft, but since we'll most likely be sharing body heat, I would say more on the bottom." She looked up at Wolf quizzically, waiting for his opinion.

He smiled spreading out some of the sheets and reaching out for hers. "Sounds good too me. Any special way you wanna sleep?" He asked mostly just teasing her by saying it. "Bottom? top? behind? in front of?" he asked trying to hid his smile as he asked making there bed.

Ion rolled her eyes and chuckled, bending down to help. It wouldn't be nearly as nice as the bed, but it would be good all the same. She yawned just as the finished laying out the blankets. "Shall we go find something to eat?" she asked, standing up.

Wolf let out a laugh as he stood up plopping there pillow on the bed. "Sure sounds good. walk me there?" He asked holding out his hand for her. Some dried fruit would probably do for a quick dinner, it had actually been a pretty decent day.

"Mhm," Ion said, walking over and grabbing his hand. She was doing pretty good so far. No breakdowns of any kind. See, you're surviving. It's just a different landscape now. Ion blinked as at the voice. She had completely forgot about Cri still being in. Oh please just come out easily. The hand not being held moved behind her. Slowly but without much difficulty Cri slipped out of her fingers. Sighing with relief, Ion squeazed Wolf's hand, her shadeling walking beside her.

The air was much thicker as Wolf noticed the humidity was stronger then the day before. All that rain on the way to the city probably. It had seemed like a short day but already the sun was ready to retreat. When they got to the shack Wolf pushed the door open and looked about the room for anything easy to eat. More towards the back he came up with some thick slabs of jerky that hadnt been sliced into strips yet and some dryed apples and more peaches. Grabbing a basket he put some fruit in and grabbed 4 or 5 slabs of jerky putting the tasty looking meat into the basket. IT always was a treat for him just to walk into there. whole shelves piled to the roof with hundreds of pounds of meat and many more lined with dried fruit. Wolf walked back to Ion at the front door. "Want to eat in bed or do you have any where else you would rather?" he asked curiously.

Ion shrugged and reached a hand out to help with the basket. "Doesn't matter to me." She looked around them, hearing no other source of life but them. The animals were probably waiting out the storm.

Wolf nodded. "ya lets just eat at the bed." he answered kissing her check. They walked to the bed and sat the mattress giving under there bodies. Wolf opened up the basket and laid out the food. The storm was letting up a little but the sky over head was still gray.

A content sigh escaped her as Ion slid her legs underneath the fresh, soft blankets. They probably wouldn't stay this comfortable or clean for too long, but it she was going to enjoy it while it lasted. Picking up a piece of jerky she looked over at Wolf. "Ok, turkey jerky or beef?" Her choosing to stick with it enforced her great thought of needing to know more about each other, which meant questions were going to continue where observation would either take too long or couldn't be used.

Wolf kicked off his shoes and then slid into bed next to her moving close." Beef please." he answered wrapping a arm around her waist. He took the jerky from her and ripped of a chunk with his teeth Seductively The blankets were warm on his skin. He rubbed his hand the blanket glade to have something to keep him warm.

Ion shook her head and grabbed another piece of jerky. She took a bite and leaned over, supporting her head in her hand while her elbow sat on her thigh. "Sunlight or moonlight?" she asked. Her appetite had gotten better so she ate her jerky in slow bites. Beef was definitely the best.

Wolf blinked as she asked the question. "hmmm? Which I like better?" He asked realizing she was asking questions again. "Depends what i'm doing, sunlight for working, for fun i like the moonlight." He replied thinking of one for her. "Summer or winter?" He asked removing his shirt and socks tossing them over to the shoes.

"Huh, it depends on which region I'm in. Though, I prefer fall over either of them," Ion said taking off her own shoes. She considered sleeping in just her tanktop but decided against it. Cricket song started to creep from the woods telling her the sun had set.

Wolf unbuttoned his pants hopping being in boxers wouldnt bother her. "Can I take my pants off?" He asked thinking about it a moment after and realizing how awkward the question was. He moved his hands under the covers waiting for her answer before he removed them.

(Lol I meant like the country/city. Just wanna know for the climate and such)

Ion raised an eyebrow. "I guess if that's how your comfortable. Aren't you going to get cold though?" She looked over at the vehicle wondering if they had gotten any shorts she could slip on. Jeans were comfortable, but she had never tried anything else.

Wolf just shrugged. "I was hoping youd keo me warm, yah i just could never sleep in jeans... too scratchy. " He answered wondering if she was thinking the same thing. "If you want something else you could borrow one of my shorts or a pair of my boxers?" He told her motioning to the vehicle. "Want me to get you some?"

"Nah, I'll go check. Be right back." Ion stood up and made her way over. Popping the trunk, she started to dig through the mounds of clothes. Finally she found a pair of shorts, black with two white stripes on each side, and a thick-strapped black tanktop. She walked around to the other side of the vehicle and quickly changed. The shorts were a bit shorter than she would have liked, barely coming to her mid-thigh, but they were extremely comfortable. Ion threw her other clothes onto the passenger seat and walked back to the make-shift bed. She sat back down and picked up a piece of fruit. Much better.

(lol. canada is the same as the US Ive been in both for the seasons. lets just say were on the border of the two? )

While Ion changed Wolf stood up and dropped his pants throwing them onto his pile. He chewed on his jerky as she got back into the bed. He nudged up close to her liking the shared heat. "What are we going to do for winter?" He asked imagining waking up with 2 feet of snow on them.

"Sleep in the car?" she suggested. It probably would be the best plan except for an actual building. Well there is the hotel by the waterfall... Ion picked up the couple of pieces of food and looked up at Wolf. "Are you gonna eat the rest of this?"

Wolf had started on his second piece of jerky and had eaten some fruit already. "No thanks im good." He thought about the two of them in the vehicle and hesitated. "A little small isnt it?" He asked having not even thought about the hotel. It had always been a run away to place. Never a house. The thougth didnt even enter his mind.

Ion shrugged moved the food off to the side. "Better be a bit cramped then freezing limbs off." She wasn't sure if she wanted to bring up the hotel. It was Wolf's place and she didn't know if he'd want it turned into a living space. Now that she wasn't eating sleep was creeping back on her. Ion shifted so that she could lay down. She sighed as her head sunk into the pillow and her eyes drifted up to the sky.

Wolf nodded trying to think of something better. Still the Hotel didnt even cross his mind. "Well we could start building a house if you want? or have a dome like the villagers." He suggested laying down next to her but on his side so a hand could lay across her stomach holding he close.
