The old city

Wolf looked to her and pointed to his pack. "Open the front pocket. There should be yellow pills in a little case." Wolf stared at the road and watched as It widened out and trees moved in as they left the city. "It only happens when we use our shades. It starts off weak... but each time it gets harder to hold on. So we take this pll before each use if we can... But there arent many left... there getting harder to find." Wolf sped up to 60 as they left the city and they started onto the highway. "We will be there in half an hour i guess."

Cain heard a car, those things are still running?he was walking on a sidewalk leading to the smoking village. Sure he wasn't a villager there but they appear to be needing help. He started to run toward the village the car sound was getting closer.

Akihiko sat in he spot muttering his plan to himself. He needed to find cover it was starting to rain, Akihiko didn't mind rain but he preferred to be dry then wet. Being wet wasn't really in his list of liking.

Ion frowned as she looked down at the pills. Out of ten there were maybe six left. "I've heard about these before. One of the villages south of here was going crazy about them when they first came out." She stuffed the pack back into the pocket and leaned against the window. At least she wasn't too far behind. "So what's your village like?"

Cain was Running as the car started to pass in (Hes on Ion's side) He was still runnin not noticing that the car was right beside him. how he didn't know was a mystery....


Akihiko sat in his spot yet to move. He was pretty content sitting there. GOing over a plan he shoved together two days ago. HE was trying to work out all the kinks if it had any...

(cain is next to the car?)

Wolf thougth for a moment. "Its kinda nice. I help with the crops, the harvesting... I help newcomers build there house, And I protect the people from rampant shades. In return the peopel dont treat me like a monster and im welcomed." Wolf slowed down as he noticed a person running along side the car. He covered the brakes and slowed down opening the window. "where are you going?" He called out

(Sort of like just barly)


Cain stopped breathing heavily, as he pointed to the smoky area. "Over...There..." Cain said then he stood up straight.

Ion's body jerked forward with the force of the stop. "What the hell?" she asked, just as her window was rolled down. She fixed her position so that she could see out. A boy had been running alongside them, and obviously Wolf had layed on the brake to talk to him. Rubbing her neck, she did a quick scan of the stranger. Didn't seem real threatening. "So you thought running beside a car would be a great way to get out and have some fun?"

Wolf stiffled a laughed as he held back the smile. "Do you have any weapons, or a shadeling?" Wolf asked before he would unlock the doors. He popped the car into park so he wouldnt have to press on the brake. "Why do you want to go there?"

"No...I was just running to the village over there.." Cain said again pointing. He was looking at Ion with his bright green eyes and the wind blew his white hair. "I have weapons, no shadeling though...And it looks as though something bad is going on i'm going to try and help" Cain said to wolf.


Akihiko went to wolf's village and began to help attack it with the other Dark hoods. He pondered what the gaurdian would do and doubted the gaurdian could do anything to them, the dark hoods.

Wolf thought for a moment sceptically. He looked to Ion and shrugged. "I guess you can catch a ride with us if you hand your stuff over to Lilith in the back." Wolf unlocked the doors wanting to get going again, The village was right over the hill probably 5 minutes of driving. Wolf sighed and looked back over to Ion. "I hope everything is ok."

Ion's eyes narrowed as she watched the boy get into the vehicle. What did he mean by 'looks like something bad was about to happen'? She turned to Wolf and gave him a hopeful smile. "I bet everything's fine and everyone is just waiting for you to get back." Everything in her was hoping that she was right, that nothing had gone wrong. She might be use to being alone with only Cri to keep her company, but Wolf really seemed to care about these people.

Cain did as told and ot in something was nagging at him from the back of his mind. But he ignored it and shut the door He looked at all the other people he noticed Vladimir and wasnted to talk to him but he was more concered with the village right now.

Wolf put the car back in gear and continued driving. "I hope your right." Wolf watched as the hill got closer and the vehicle rose closer to the top. His shadeling hopped up on his lap trying to see out the window. the smoke got thicker and wolf had to close the vents to keep them from choking to death. Right as they got to the top of the hill Wolf held his breath. As they veered up and over it... Wolf nearly forgot to breath. The walls around the village were burned down to nothing. The buildings he helped build were flaming or embers. People with black cloaks ran shooting all they could inside. The screams of agony found there way inside the vehicle and in seconds Wolfs shade melted into them and the door of the car was blown right off the hindge as Wolf ran as fast as he could towards the burning gate.

There was only a moment for everything to sink in before Ion was out of the car. She threw her backpack to the ground, Cri's power already sinking into her body. Even though this was a horrible event she couldn't help but enjoy the ice feeling going down her spine. After a few weeks of nothing to do but roam she finally had something to do and a reason to be doing it.

Once she was out of the vehicle everything started to move quickly. A Dark Hood member ran at her with his gun pointed at her head. She smiled as a bubble of water was formed in front of her, pushed to encase his head, and then froze solid. He struggled for a moment before he went limp and fell to the ground. A slight twang in her heart made her grimace, but she shook it away and moved towards a group who was encouraging fire onto a cluster of buildings.

Akihiko saw a boy running at the Village. He growled and ran at the boy with twin Katana's in his hands. Akihiko was hoping the boy would put up a challange. But before he could attack the boy a Katana almost cut him he quickly dodged it. CAin growled, "Go wolf i'll deal with this one!" Cain said to wolf. Akihiko attacked Cain in anger.

Wolf rushed right past everyone pulling sand up from the ground and throwing it onto a burning building. Wolf was sweating from the heat and feeling sick. He just couldnt do it quick enough. spinning the sand around he moved it from building to building putting out flames. Suddenly wolf screamed as a burning sensation filled his thigh with pain. Looking down he saw blood flowing own his favorite pair of pants. Wolf at first didnt understand but as he looked up the butt of a gun caught him in the face and he sprawled back. lood dripped from his lip as the man looked him over. Wolfs good leg caught him in the gut and sent him back. Lifting his arm the nearby shed crashed down on him covering him with debris. Wolf grabbed his leg barely able to stand up as he tried to finish putting out the flames.

Wolf's yell caused Ion to spin around. Everything was chaos. Buildings were colapsing under the flames, round after round was being shot in every direction, people were falling to the ground. Ion took a deep breath and moved her head to the side until it cracked. "OK Cri, let's see just how much of a splash you're able to make." She was well aware that Cri had much more power than her body did, but she had to do something to stop the madness.

Lifting her hands to the sky, Ion focused on the atoms. She took a breath and felt a drop on her open palm. Another breath gave the drop friends, multitudes of them. Finally it became a downpour that would easily flood the nearby river if she left it going to long. Dropping her arms, Ion looked around outside while she caught her breath. It was just in the village grounds that was touched by her rain, the way she planned. This way more power could be concentrated and not wasted. After seconds she was gained enough strength back to run over to where Wolf was manipulating earth. "Worry about - the hoods. I got - the fire - down," she said between breaths.

Akihiko stabbed CAin and growled. CAin growled back and stabbed him as well both missed the heart by centimeters. Blood ran down Cains face. CAin couldn't tell with Akihiko he had a hood shadowing his face. this angered cain more.

Veins crawled out from under wolfs hands digging through his cut and letting there roots dig deep into it pulling it shut and slowly mending the wound. Wolf looked around for anyone he knew... But the shooting had almost stopped and the only people he saw were the cloaked figures who had done this damage. He looked around for anyone to attack. But must hadnt spotted them and seeing the job was finished, many were heading off. Wolf's hair and clothing was soaked, his home was destroyed... Wolf suddenly looked towards his house and ran straight for it. Beating his way inside the sizziling house he scanned his bedroom looking for the girl. Wolf looked around only seeing the over turned bed. Wolf lifted it up reveiling the unconcious girl who had been shielded beneath it.

Moments later Wolf emerged from the house placing the girl on the ground and returning to Ion.

As soon as Wolf was out of sight Ion dropped onto her knees and tried to steady her breathing. It was taking a lot of energy to keep so much rain coming, more than she had ever used before. At least the fire is dying, she told herself as she looked around. The fire on the gate had for the most part been smothered, and the building ruins had only small embers still flaming. She allowed the rain to lighten just a hair, and the force of energy flowing back into her was like hitting a wall. After taking in some deep breaths she stood up.

Only a couple hoods remained but they were being taken care of. A building not too far away had been dealt some serious damage but still had one wall standing. Ion hurried over, and upon arriving, saw that it had been the medicine hut. Coughing alerted her to a older gentleman who was half buried in ruble. "Oh my gosh," she gasped, rushing over. She gingerly moved a large piece of wall off of his chest and another crushing his legs. "Sir, do you have any serious injuries?" The man coughed but shook his head. Ion tore a piece of her t-shirt and tied it as a bandage over a gash on his upper arm. "You must be the doctor. I'm Ion. Do you have any other injuries?"

Wolf looked around for Ion but couldnt find her. He helped a few people who were stuck then went back to the girl who had been living in his house. Hefting her up he brought her and a few others to the old medicine hut. Wolf raised some rocks out of the ground as makeshift tables and laid them down on them. Wolf heard talking on the other side and saw the doctor and Ion talking. The doctor looked bad, but at least he wasnt dead.

Shifting rocks made Ion turn her head. Wolf came into view and she smiled. "He says he's fine. One of his ankles was broken, and he had a pretty deep gash in his arm, but otherwise wasn't too bad. Nothing I couldn't fix," she said looking back at the man. He was resting his head back against the wall but she could tell he wasn't fully asleep yet. Getting up and dusting off her jeans Ion walked over and peaked behind the wall. "Wow, I don't have nearly enough energy to help all of them." She could already hear the exhaustion in her voice. Shaking herself, she looked at Wolf. "Got any energy shots or something around here?"

Wolf thought for a moment but couldnt think of anything really. "If we did... They would be in there..." Wolf pointed to the embering pile of ashes and sighed. "I shouldnt have left..." Suddenly wolf looked to the pile again. "did anyone see the blonde water shade in there? She was a full shade?" Wolf asked looking around to make sure she hadnt woken up to cause more problems.

Ion shook her head and looked around. There was no sign of the girl Wolf was talking about. She moved a pile of debris to find a small bottle. All she could see was the word 'health'. The seal hadn't been broken yet and there were no holes in it. Curling her fingers around it, Ion stood up and turned to Wolf. "Find anything?"

"Not really..." He muttered kicking debris trying to find something useful. Wolf picked up a bottle of extremely old redbull shots and handed it too her. "Its like 16 years old.... but..." He shrugged not thinking much more would be found. He kicked a bit more unearthing some blonde hairs that made his skin crawl. Wolf felt his stomach squirm and he instantly fell on his knees heaving. Wolf stood back up shaking as he wipped his mouth a tear starting up in his eye. "Sorry..." He whispered stepping back from the hidden body.
