The old city

Vladimir was checking every room, he had appeared to have went into a Hotel. Thats a good place to stay the night at. He had check every room no one was in here. He was thinking stay the night her look tomorrow but would he find them ever? This was just terrible that thought of them being dead came to his mind again. He was begining to think they were. But he shook it off he heard a voice out side he peeked it was a girl with a small group maybe they've seen angela and his mother? he doubted it and had decided not to ask. he sat on the front desk thinking.

Wolf looked at the motel and thought for a moment. "The medicine the doctor gave that shade I found wont last too long... But i guess we could stay a night befroe going back to the village. Apology excepted." Wolf pulled out his metal rod and they started walking for the motel. Wolfs shadeling was talking with Liliths before suddenly looking ahead and taking off. "Hey!" Wolf took off after it trying to catch it before it ran into the hotel.

Vladimir saw the shdeling and quickly pulled out his wooden rod and growled quietly. He didn't exactly hate them but he wasn't going to let it touch him. That was a known fact. His backpack was on his back and his weapon at the ready. He was ready for the thing to attack. He was standing in a fighting stance. He wondered if the shadeling was already attached to someone? was it? or was it ne looking for someone to attach its self to?

Wolf ran into the door as the shadeling looked up at the guy. Wolf stopped in his tracks and riased his bar. "shade?" He asked hoping to find out by that instead of being attacked like last time. The fact the guy was holding a weapon gave him a good chance of at least not being a full one. but he didnt see a shadeling anywhere...

"Im not one of those things...." He muttered. He stayed in his position. He looked at the shadeling then the boy thinking that they must be attached, He was ready for if they attacked. He had trusting issues and this proved it well enough. He kept looking between the two he growled slightly.

Wolf back up slowly. "Its ok we didnt mean to come in here..." Wolf slowly moved back a bit putting away his bar. "Would you mind us staying here tonight?" He asked hesitantly noting the guys anxiety.

Lilith had caught her shade right outside the door. The thing was clawing and biting. "what do u think u r a cat!!" she yelled before it forced it's way out of get arms and three the door. Lilith burst threw and jumped on her shade before she saw the guy with the rod. "oh... Hello." she said now trying to hide her shade.

"I don't care if you stay or not but keep those things away from me" Vladimir said keeping his rod out. He looked between them. he obiously didn't totally trustthem but he didn't continue his fighting stance. He stoof up straight and streatched he kept his weapon out just in case. Vlad was a justin case kind of guy.

Wolf nodded and backed himself up to the door. We will just be in the next room getting ready then... Wolf took his shade out the door letting Lilith wait for him to check out the room. Wolf kicked in the door and took a look around. He felt the bedding and after checking the dressers and closet he went back to get lilith.

Vlad sat and pulled out the trinket again. Tears fell quietly. He held it close to him and began muttering that he hoped that they were allright. He seemed softer and more scared then just afew seconds ago. Vladimir sat there looking at the two pictures, he sighed and put the trinket around his neck and held it tearing up again.

Wolf came out of the room and looked at lilith. "Im checking around here. You go and stay in the room." Wolf walked off with his shadeling and rod. Heading for the nearby buildings.

Vlad held the trinket and remained silent. He ignored them they wern't talking to him so he didn't mind there presence. They didn't seem mean and evil but he kept his distance. He was still human. Not a shade. Who knew what shades thouht of humans, certainly not him. He sat there he looked at his side. the gaush still there it was sore and it hurt him majorly. He grabbed his last pain killer and swallowed it.

Wolf walked to the first destructed building he could find. There was a stir inside and wielding his rod he went inside noticing a girl sitting on the debris. Wolf saw the shade nearby and cleared his throat. "hello...?"

Vlad stood up and started looking in buildings again in hopes to find his family. He went into a building and started looking around. So far nothing was found. He sighed sadly. And sat for a second thinking.


Emiko looked at him and tilted her head. "Who....Are...You?" She said softly she sounded scared her shadeling hissed and got infront of her.

Lilith was reluctant to go in the room. She did not know if it was the fact that she was over tired or she really saw something. She watched the boy with the red rod just a moment longer as wolf went to look around. There was a painfully feeling surrounding him. Even perched and ready to attack Lilith saw him more as gental. She watched him as his back was toward her and she saw him take out alittle token she did nit know what it was. Once the boy got up and went away Lilith sighed and retreated to her room.

Vlad was looking around he began to get frustrated.. He had looked for them for years. Sitting here wasn't going to find them. Tearsfell softly but he wipped his tears. Not finding them and went to the room he was staying in for the night. He kept looking at the the trinket and sighed, "I'll find you guys...I promise" Vlad said sighing.


Emiko got up, She looked terrified. "I said who are you" She said in a sharper tone she still looked terrified. she backed up. "Lets kill him then he won't hurt you.." Her shadeling said. "N-No" She said shaking her head. "But he'll hurt you" Her shade hissed. Emiko looked terrified shaking her head and covered her face.

Wolf stepped back as the obvious lack of sanity caused him to step up his cautiousness. "That ones getting old... Its OK Im not going to hurt anyone..." Wolf lowered his weapon again as his shadeling moved towards the girls. "Wolf" He said pointing to himself.

Azriel saw the shades... She crouched in the way she knew how and snuck her way along. The motel was a good place to sleep, She wouldnt pass it up to some good for nothing shades. She clenched her assault rifle closer and quickly picked the lock while the shades were in the other rooms. She quickly ran inside and locked the door, Her blonde hair being blown back farther under her black hood by the gust of wind as the door closed. Azriel waited a moment listening then content they hadnt heard she took off her black hoodie and laid down on the bed exhausted.

All of the buildings here are abandoned, wearing down, and probably about cave in at any moment. Perfect! Smiling, Ion looked down at the shadeling walking alongside her. Cri had been pouting for a good half hour now, but Ion hadn't broken. "You're not seriously still mad that I made you walk, are you?" There was no reply. Ion rolled her eyes, but the smile didn't fade as she examined the ruins. She could already see this place being great to make a camp. Maybe they could even stay here a few days. The only that dimmed her hope was the lack of chance that she would actually run into another person here. Sighing, she slung her backpack off her shoulder and rummaged through it until she found her water bottle. Shaking it revieled she would have to make some more soon. Ion took a sip, placed it back into her bag, and returned it to her shoulder.

Ion quickened her pace until she was at a comfortable jog. Finally she came to a book store with a large hole where a window must have been. A quick peak inside informed her that there were a good amount of books that were still readable. Another rummage through her bag produced a piece of paper and a pencial. She copied the rusted numbers, then stuffed the paper into her pocket. They would definitely be returning, but for now she need to find a place to stay. The size of the city told that there must be a hotel. Now just to find it.

Emiko watched him and relaxed alittle, she took in a deep calming breathe and looked at him. She pointed to her self, "Emiko Victoria" She said softly. She was a shy girl enemy or not. She looked at wolf then to his shade her shade looked at wolf's not moving away. Emiko got down to the solid floor and took a calming breathe. She went toward wolf as if to see him up close.



Vlad sat in some rubles and got up leaving them back to the hotel and went to the room he had clamed as his and fell onto the bed he looked at the trinket around his neck and gave a soft sigh. He closed it and slowly began driffting and then went and put his backpackin a safe place in the room. He then laid down and started drifting to a deep sleep and soon fell asleep.

Lilith was restless and got out of her bed. Sophie (her shade) was out cops in the foot of her bed but she stirred as her master got up. "one day you will kill me." she whisptered to herself then went to the door placing her hand on it. She could not stop thinking about the boy they had met on the way into the hotel. She knee she could help him. He could help her too. Lilith lightly pounded on the door her head pressed agenst it. She knew he would never trust her because of her shade.

Vladimir woke up roughly 10 minutes later and groaned he got up and began to wonder he took his backpack with him to. He ended up back were he met lilith and wolf he sat on the desk again. He yawned and looked at the trinket he stared at it for a long period of time. He then looked away and yawned.

Lilth pushed her door just slightly open light from outside pouring into the room. She squinted her eyes and she could see from down the hall in the doorway of her room that that boy was back looking vary tired.

Vladimir grabbed his side and held it. When he removed his hand some blood was on it. he winced and took a deep breathe. He sat there not realizing he was being looked at. He sat there thinking of where else to look, Where wlse was there to look? maybe it was time to go village to village? or just keep looking in abandoned citys that would fall and crumble very soon?.


Emiko was infront of wolf she looked at him. He didn't look mean like her past did. She looked at her shade then back at wolf. She didn't know what to say to him. Concidering that she hasn't spoken to anyone in a long time.

Wolf looked to her and suddenly didnt know what to say. What would he do? What 'could' he do? "Do you have a place to stay or anything?" Wolf asked hesitantly, realizing if she did she wouldnt be sitting on rubble... "Are you hungry?" He asked remembering his back pack.
