The old city

Xenon was laying motionless on the floor, but she was very much awake. When all eyes were off her she hopped up onto her good leg, letting out a small whimper as pain shot up her other leg with the blown out knee. Moving as fast as she could she exited the hospital and toppled right onto some kid.

Alder had been watching the other guy walk away when suddenly someone else crashed into him, this time both of them fell to the ground and whoever it was was now ontop of him... Suddenly the girl rolled off him and stared at him with very blue eyes. He was... mezmerized for a moment.. until he noticed the black shade curled around her, he was then up and against the side of the hospital faster than you could say "Shade".

When they rounded the corner to get to the girl Luna growled. "bitch... " Luna's shade entered her and The wonderful dark pleasure spilled over. Luna looked to the ground seeing the black foot prints left behind by Xenons dark aura. Following them outside Luna was curious to see the girl trying to walk, while a boy was pressed against the hospital wall protecting himself. "Whats this?"

Xenon stared up at the girl who just walked through the doors, she could tell right away that she was also a dark shade. That didn't instantly make them allies though. Suddenly Xenon's shade sank into her body, her eyes flickered for a moment and then stared at the girl.

Adler was just about ready to have a heart attack, one dark shade was bad enough but now two! "Fuck.." He mumbled quietly, it sounded odd coming out of his mouth since he was only 10 years old. He felt his knees getting weak and he thought that at any moment he could collapse onto the ground.

Luna smiled at the wounded shade as the jet black wings sprouted from her back and her eyes clouded till they were completely crimson. "What do you hope to accomplish fighting alone? there are 3 shades in that building who are about to come out looking for you... And then theres also me? You cant think of any ideas?" Luna gave a grin as a haze lifted over the area slowly darkenning it.

Xenon groaned and fell back onto the rubbled pavement, she was in far to much pain to think right now. Her chest heaved up and down in raspy breaths. Today was just not her day. Now what? she thought to her shade. I... don't know. her shade answered in its dark voice. Xenon groaned again..

Adler watched paralized in fear. For some reason there was something very alluring about the girl on the ground... maybe it was one of her powers. Maybe if he was braver he might do something but at the moment his knees were starting to give out.

Rail turned and fired a warning shot just over the shoulder of the girl. He motioned for the boy and the other one to run, he silently hoped that the boy wouldn't be a dick and offer the girl a hand walking. "How fast do you think a Dark shade can teleport in day light, faster then I can pull this triger?" He asked giving the other two more time.

Luna turned to the boy confused. "Why would you shoot me? I havent harmed or meant to harm you..." The Air grew thicker still as the haze slowly choked out the light. "What could you possibly want with this girl anyways?" Luna asked pushing the matter. "Once the light is gone... Is she really going to behave herself? You tired her up and I assume thats your shot in her knee..." Luna walked over to the fallen girl and raised her hand over the girls leg as black tendrils split through the skin in her hand and pushed there way against her skin trying to get in and heal the wound.

Adler didn't need to be told twice, he quickly gave the older boy a thank you look before he took off running. He jumped over old cars and broken barracades, it wasn't long until he was quite a ways away. Stopping to catch his breath he hid behind a car and watched from afar.. he silently hoped that the older guy would maybe show up again.. Alder wanted to thank him properly, after all he had probably just saved his life. His eyes were once again drawn to the dark shade girl on the ground though...


Xenon groaned again as the black tendrils sank into her knee.. but it wasn't long until she stared to feel much better. The pain had stopped and she could actually move it, she turned her blue eyes up to the other dark shade girl and nodded. Her shade twisted and moved around in her body, clearly restless and wanting revenge on the boy who had shot her knee out.

Rail took a step back, "I just can't get a break can I?" He asked silently before firing a shot that was intended the hit on the other shade girl before focusing on the now healed shade. He didn't really want to use his shade but he also didn't want to have to fight off all four of them. So he did the sensible thing and turned tail and ran. He got to the end of the road before he was blocked off by a rather big brick wall. He silently thanked the orphanage for teaching him how to scale these things. He took a step back before shimming up the side of the wall. He dropped down not to far away from the boy. He ran over to him, grabbed his arm to make sure he kept up and started running from the scene. Later they reached what used to be a coffe shop, he let go of the boys arm and leaned back trying to catch his breath.

Luna growled painfully as the shot dug into her thigh. Luna lost her concentration and the haze fighting back the light gave out. Luna clenched her leg and began to limp towards the dark hospital knowing it would speed the healing.

Wolf had found some of the shade pills and some other antiseptics and goddies. Throwing them into his bag Wolf found lilith and brought her to the door of the hospital as Luna limped in...

Xenon had just gotten up when the guy that had shot her took off running, she was in no mood to chase after him. She could if she really wanted try to sing and lure him back but she could always get him later.. besides right now her shade was in a very bad mood and in total control of her body.

Adler ran with the guy until they reached an old coffee shop. "Thanks.. I thought I was done for." Adler said to the boy while catching his breath. He ran his hands over the bits of shaggy blond hair sticking out from under his took.

Luna looked at Wolf and lilith before entering the building. Her wounds started healing as the darkness of the hospital covered her. "This girl is to be left alone... in return ill let you live and keep the medication...?" Luna commanded looking over there expressions.

"When did I make a deal with you-" Wolf looked to lilith and quickly understood. "I guess we agree..."

Rail stood up and looked the boy over. "What the hell where you doing out there anyway?" He asked bitterly wishing the boy hadn't been a problem. He sighed and started pacing wondering what to do with him, "You got some where to go, right?"

Adler looked up at the older boy. "I.. err.. live out here I guess.." He said sheepishly. Adler's green eyes followed the older boy as he paced back and forth clearly thinking things through. "Well.. I got.. a shack.." He said and pointed off into the distance towards a point a rubble. Somewhere over there was something that resembled a shack and that was where he had been staying. Alder shuffled a little, hoising his backpack a little higher.

Rail looked at the piece of crap that the boy called a shack. "What if they try to find you?" He said more to him self, his house was protected due to the series of mines around the area. "You could stay at my place till they leave the city."

Lilith smiled "sounds like a good deal to me." she said. Lilith looked to wolf for approval. she had tried vary hard not to mess things up this time.

Wolf looked to luna and nodded. "Ok... feel free to take her then." Wolf turned throwing his backpack over his shoulder as he left. As wolf left the hospital he stopped, waiting for lilith.

Luna smiled looking to the new dark shade. "Im Luna, You got a name?" She asked kindly hoping he garments didnt bother the other shade at all.

Lilith waved to Luna and ran to wolf. she felt bad about leaveing Xenon behind but she thought that this might be for the best. She hoped this would make everyone happy.

Alder's eyes brightened for a moment, though there was still a moment of doute in his eyes. "really? You'll let me stay with you for a while?" He asked sounding rather hopeful.

Xenon looked up at the other shade. "Xenon." she said trying to stand. "thanks for your help."

Luna just shrugged. "Were both dark shades we might as well work together right?" She asked smiling as she turned. "come on lets go find you a suitable bed."

"I think I did te right thing.. For once since I got here." she said to wolf keeping a steady pace with him. Her leg felt much better since the time wolf wrapped it up for her. There was vary little pain when she stepped

Wolf hesitantly nodded. "Keep this up and we might get along." He smiled and sighed. "What a lot of work for some medicine"

she laughed. "when you say it like that it really does sound silly." she said a smile creeping across her face. At once lilith began to feel her eye lids become heavey. She did not realize how little sleep she had.

Vlad was sitting in Rubles. he yawned quietly digging through his backpack. He pulled out the trinket and opened it. A picture of a little girl, and a women that looked 25 or so. "I hope they're alright" He muttered. He put the trinket back into his backpack and zipped up his backpack. He needed a place to stay for the night. But where? He got up and streatched. The went to the front entry of the building he was in. No shadelings or shades were in sight so he quickly left to another building to search. He knew that they were more then likly not here. But he had to try there was that 1% that they were in there.



Emiko sat in an old building humming a tune and let it drift into the wind. Her fire shadeling was next to her. Emiko looked at her shadeling, In all honest she didn't want it but she couldn't think of others and their thoughts of her if she were going to a village. Most or almost all humans hated shades and shadelings. But who could blame them? Emiko sat on a crumbled pile of rocks that lead to the roof of the building. She yawned sleep sounded good but she could never sleep.

Lilith could feel her eyes growing heavy. "wolf, I am sorry about all the trouble I caused." she said relucktanly. "but would u mind if I just slept here tonight I an beat." Lilith pointed to a random broken down hotel.
